Conveyor with high-speed turner

New conveyor with high-speed turning function from NIKODAN.

We are pleased to present a video of a conveyor we recently produced. This conveyor is a high-speed turner designed for handling confectionery products. The purpose is to ensure gentle turning of the product and provide consistent delivery of products for packaging. More specifically, the conveyor system consists of two infeed belts that initiate the turning of the product. The product is then transferred to an inliner process with side belts.

The turner, also called the turning function, on this conveyor works by rotating the confectionery products during the belt’s forward movement, turning the product from long-side leading to short-side leading. The products are then ready to be individually wrapped, for example in foil. If the correct product orientation is not achieved, the product will be rejected and blown off the belt via pneumatic sorting.

The system is designed to handle 1,000 products per minute, which is attractive for modern confectionery factories and other producers. The system is also constructed with features that make maintenance and cleaning easy and manageable. Please contact us for further information:
